CABINET CONSTRUCTION

We use CNC technology and accuracy for all our cabinet boxes; This allows us to construct each one with a blind dado assembly. The blind dado assembly creates the strongest and tightest tolerances in the industry. Dado joints strengthen and stabilize the weight supporting cross pieces and frames. The dado joint increases frame strength and rigidity. Our cabinet boxes are strong and can stand the test of time. When you visit our showroom you can see the Plexi glass display of this process, we feel this is a very important feature.

SANDING

Sanding is one of the most important process as we approach the final overall appearance of your cabinet. We use a Triple head surface sander, which allows us to reach the final product thickness. We use three different grits of paper and then the wood is run through an orbital sander with three heads in grit sequences to remove cross grain scratch from the surface sander. The next step is to use a hand orbital sander with 180 grit, inspecting the product with specially designed lights with a non-glare flat beam to point out the smallest imperfections in the sanded product. The final sanding procedure is our unique brush sanding; It makes a major difference in the outcome of the clarity of the stains and glazes and basically the overall appearance of your project. This final step is one that you will not find in most other shops. Come down and we will be happy to give you a tour.

FINISHES

We use a finishing system that is far more durable than production lacquers that are used in the industry. We start with our own penetrating dye that is hand rubbed to bring out the depth of the grains and clarity to the wood. The next step is a high solid sanding sealer. The product is allowed to dry and then is run through our brush sander to smooth the sealer. We then hand sand the wood with 320 grit sandpaper before the final coat of conversion varnish is applied.

INSTALLATION

We maintain all of our installers in-house and at an hourly wage to insure that they have enough time to install your finished product correctly and with the utmost care and precision. We train our installers to pay attention to detail and keep your jobsite clean. We have the most knowledgeable and courteous intallers in the business.

ENVIRONMENTAL

We are very dedicated to doing our part for the environment. Our stains and glazes are mostly water based and are applied with HVLP technology for high transfer efficiencies. Our finish room has a specially designed filter system, which traps 99.9% of any overspray, keeping our air clean. All our paper, cardboard and plastics (including our water bottles) are recycled. The sawdust is hauled away and recycled as well. We equip all our trucks with GPS to eliminate any excess travel.
